A friend of mine sent this quote to me a long time ago and I still use it in my “WomenSpeak” training. It not only helps women feel more confident but adds another positive component to reaching their goals without thinking they need constant approval from others, especially male colleagues or clients. That’s not to say that women shouldn’t have any male allies (in fact, we all need our male colleagues to communicate with and learn from) but gives women more reasons to believe they can successfully continue on their career paths on their own, too.
